Not something I would be interested in doing but the disciplines would be very worth while to someone who reads the bible everyday.
Practical guide to Christian life for women
A bit outdated but still a very helpful book.
The principles in this book are timeless and help a Christian
woman who is serious about her walk with the Lord set her priorities and discipline herself to get what God has for her.

This book wasn't for me. I didn't finish it. It started with some great ideas for how to apply Christian values to everyday life, but I quickly became annoyed by the author. Her lifestyle isn't something I could relate to.
Although the book is a bit dated (it was written in 1975 and I first read it in 1979), Mrs. Ortland writes with a winsome and personal style, like you are sitting together in a room, having a cup of tea and chatting. Her advice is very wise. This was the first book I read on keeping a Journal and also a daily Planner - two things that are very popular today. Anne Ortland even gives you guide lines on de-cluttering and how to keep a minimalist close closet.
This book isn't for everyone, as it is written with a direct Christian view, but I think everyone should read it and would enjoy it.
