I love everything by Michael Crichton and this book was no exception. This was his book about sexual harassment that was turned into a movie starring Demi Moore. As usual, the book is better than the movie in my opinion! A real page turner from beginning to end!

A brutal struggle in the cutthroat computer industry; a shattering spychological game of cat and mouse; an accusation of sexual harassment that threatens to derail a brilliant carreer- this is at the core of this electrifying novel by Michael Crichton.
I love Michael Crichton's books. They are so off the wall and hit you from behind every time. There are just so many twists and turns, that you find yourself looking totally in the wrong direction for the bad guy. Fabulous!

Tom Sanders, a guy in charge of the development and production of new computer components has expected to be promoted when the merger takes place. However, unexpectedly the position is given to a woman he used to date who in his opinion has zero experience for the position.
Meredith Johnson, the woman in question, apparently has a problem separating her personal life (a slut) from her professional (a woman in power) and is systematically sexually harassing various men reporting to her.
Tom is one such man but instead of leaving with his tail between his legs like all the others. He begins a sexual harrassment lawsuit against both Meredith and the company they both work for.
What happens next is just amazing and well thought out. A terrific tale.

If You haven't seen the movie, and who hasn't, the book goes deeper... if You have seen the movie, read the book. Vivid!
