One of my favorite books is "Divided Minds: Twin Sisters and Their Journey Through Schizophrenia" by Pamela Spiro Wagner and Carolyn Spiro. What impressed me is how identical twin could have such different views of the world.  The book gives an insight into a troubled mind. It also shows how hard it is on the family.

It's a short and easy to read book, but it's packed full of emotions and insight into a troubled mind.

The mind is such a fragile thing.

You might enjoy I Know This Much Is True by: Wally Lamb. It is much thicker, and NOT a quick read, but it is about identical twins of whom one is Schizoprenick. It was a great book. a book within the book is the autobiography of the main characters grandfather. Their mothe was also a twin, though her twin brother died at birth, for which her father never forgave her. It is her father whose autobiography is contained within the novel. The main character has to find someone to translate it, since it is written in - german, i think.
