As a certified applied animal behaviorist with a specialty in the treatment of active dog to human aggression, I can say that this book is fairly good, but a far better (and more useful) treatment of "dog language" can be found in Turid Rugaas' book, "On Talking Terms with Dogs: Calming Signals"
