I learned a lot about Dogs in this book. I've had dogs for years and I really liked it for basic

"written with intelligence, wit, and heart. If your dog had a credit card, he'd buy this wonderful guide."-Darris O. Hercs, Executive Assistant Director, SPCA, Oakland, CA.

The only way "Dogs for Dummies" could be more helpful to me is if the book itself trained the dog!
Gina Spadafori answers every question I had about our delightful (and rambunctious) white Lab Bobo
and our elderly, cranky dog Carl. Following her advice, I have trained Bobo in some simple commands
that make life easier for me and, against my sentimental husband's objections, firmly separated Carl
from our grandchildren.
