I did a search and found this thread

Do you want to donate credits to a soldier?

I think the OPs name is Justin...

I remember "ironman" was collecting credits. Maybe it was him?

I don't know if you folks are aware of it, but there is an organization that sends books to soldiers... and it's FREE for the service folks,  they don't have to buy credits...etc.   Plus every once in a while, OPS sends out soldiers  "wish lists" for specific books.  It is carefully moderated, so no information about where someone is deployed for instance, can be read on a public messageboard !

Please tell your buddy about it !  And if you have family serving,  please encourage them to sign up.

I have sent out books through Operation Paperback several times.  You let them know what type of books and how many you have and they send you addresses of service people who have signed up.  Sometimes they have specific requests or genres that they want, so I try to send to the person who most closely matches the batch of books I have to send.  They can be sent Media, so inexpensively, but you do have to fill out (very easy) customs forms.  Sometimes there are rules, like no exposed female skin on books send to addresses in the Middle East (I guess it offends some of the Muslims) so some of the romances with sedate but sexy cover pictures can't be sent there.
