I have been a member of Paperbackswap since December 2004. Since I moved to New York City and had to donate 300+ books to the library I will admit to not being as active on Paperbackswap as I was before I lost of library. That being said I currently have 4 credits and I would very much like to offer 10-20 credits as an item for a silent auction for my work. We are a non-partisan organization that works for good environmental policy in Missouri. www.movotesconservation.org I was hoping if enough people donated 1 credit I could introduce 200+ people to Paperbackswap that might not be familiar with the service and raise a few dollars for my pay check :) Thank you in advance, Joseph Katz

I would like to thank Claire N. (bookknoll) for her random act of kindness. I am getting close to my goal of 10 books, but would of course love to offer more since the estimated value on books at this site is $2.00 $20 is a nice even number for a value. She did ask an important question, how the winner would get the credit. Each item a person bids on has a description and an estimate value. The description will be where I explain what Paperbackswap is (and why credits = free books). It is my hope that anyone bidding on used books is a bibliophile and will of course become active in the PBS community. Thank you to Claire and anyone else that supports this idea. I will of course use this area to report what the credits auctioned off for.
