An interesting book with well drawn characters. Donna Rose, a retired 6th grade teacher, and her neighbor Cyrus, a retired Navy officer, have more than enough spice to keep things interesting. The author really delves into the complex relationships that you tend to get in small towns, and you get a realistic sense of how complicated it can be to investigate a crime in a place where everyone's connected to everyone else.
