It was brought to my attention this morning that some members (including myself) are having a problem with their tags showing up in duplicate, and new tags are applied as a double duplicate tag.  I've contacted the Team, and am awaiting their response, but I wanted to let folks know about this glitch so they don't think they are going crazy if they view their tags and they also have this problem...

The team said they are working on a fix now. I'll let you know when I hear more...

ditto, I figured it was a glitch and would just wait it out.

My tags are not doubling now...  perhaps the Team has finished fixing this glitch now?  They haven't notified me again, so perhaps they found a solution that does not require any action on our part.

In the same vein as the tags problem: Anyone getting tags on their books that are not yours? I've got several showing up and returning, whether or not I've deleted them. (They make no sense for the books that I have tagged.) They're only showing up on books I've tagged before, not on books I've never tagged.

There are 3 tags that don't belong to me that are showing up on almost every book on my wishlist. NKOTB, On the run: a mafia childhood,  my inventory they even have the little x next to them . And the ones that are mine have the R. Weird!

*whew* That's the same as mine. I was beginning to wonder for a moment... that "On the run..." one was so odd, showing up on random books.

I already reported this to TPTB as well.

I have tags that don't belong to me showing up on my WL, also.  Eriks is the tag showing up. It has the x next to it. The tags I actually tagged books with have the little r.   The random tag is showing up only on books in my Wl that I have tagged.

ETA: I also have the My inventory tag showing up.

Even weirder, when I click on the Eriks tag, it says: "There are no books tagged 'Eriks'"

ETA again: my tags are no longer doubled up. I guess the doubled up tags were replaced with random tags? Odd.

Glad I'm not the only one with weird tags showing up.  I was afraid someone hacked into my account somehow......

I recieved an email from TPTB that said they were looking into the random tags in response to the feedback I sent.

I deleted the second tag on a few of mine that doubled, and now those tags are gone completely - aargh!

I not only get these NKOTB, On the run: a mafia childhood,  my inventory . I also get this one & it's kind of creepy, goodbye, i love you. Does anyone else see this pop up in the tags? Or is it just me?

Nope! It's not just you. I get all of them still. It's been like this for months now, you'd think they would have it fixed by now.
