A witty, hilarious story of some pretty hapless criminals. At some point in this quick read, you're going to say to yourself, "How did these guys get this far without screwing it up? I mean - look at them!" This book is well worth the read.

As a new Atlantan, I really enjoyed reading this story, knowing where almost every situation took place. This story is laugh out loud funny at times. I'd love to see this book made into a movie.

This was a little too gritty for me. The writing style is interesting but a bit rough and tumble for my current mood.

Wow, this one's a bit tough to describe. Bad guys against worse bad guys? If it were a movie or tv show, you'd have to know "violence, sex, language". The strange thing is that it is a quick and very entertaining read. Total escapism.

This is one of your better crime stories. It follows a group of bad guys out to get revenge by ripping off some worse guys. It's humorous, violent, and quirky and most importantly, a fun read. The setting of Atlanta sets it apart from similar stories more often set in LA, Florida, New York or Detroit. Fans of Elmore Leonard, crime fiction, or the city of Atlanta will find "Down on Ponce" a great way to spend a sleepy Saturday.

Willard's book, "Down on Ponce" will introduce you to characters you never dreamed existed in Atlanta bouncing around in areas you are familiar with if you know Atlanta. It is a page turner because even though you know what has caused this rag tag motley group to get so fired up you will be enthralled at how they reach their unknown goal with their questionable and intelligent methods. I hope to be able to read another of his soon.
