This book is for people who feel inspired to draw or sketch their babies. It begins with a detailed section on baby anatomy, followed by demonstrations of how to render gesture and how to manipulate light and shadow. It has some lovely and touching drawings which really help in planning your sketches. All you need to get started is a piece of paper and a pencil or piece of charcoal. I found it extremely helpful when my grandchildren were infants and I wanted to draw them either in person or from a photograph. (I have identical twin girls who gave birth to their first babies (girls) within 4 days of one another.)
