Well written double murder mystery. 3yo child is kidnapped and then the mother and her sexual partner are murdered. The main character is a forensic artist (draws pictures of murders/criminals is which he develops their character), who is the son of the mother's psychiatrist. She was married but has multiple sexual flings ( sees herself as a slut). The psychiatrist commits suicide and the son seeks to solve the cold case. Lots is psychoanalitic work up. Interesting well done story.
