Loved it, loved it! Judi McCoy's books have such an original touch of paranormal fun. What woman wouldn't want her own sexy genie?

Saddened by her broken engagement and the difficulties of her family owned computer business, Maddie Winston escapes to her grandmther's bed and breakfast in the Florida Keys. While walking the beach she finds a bottle washed onto the shore and begins to scrub the tarnished metal. Imagine her surprise when the top pops off and smoke rises, forming into a hunky genie who announces that her wish is his command. Maddie is so disbelieving, she leaves the man and his 'magic' bottle and returns to New York to start rebuilding her life.
When she arrives back in her apartment and begins to unpack, she finds the bottle in her suitcase. More than annoyed, she tosses it down the garbage chute. The next day, it shows up in her briefcase and this time she's forced to admit something screwy is happening.

She polishes the bottle again, not quite believing the coconut-headed hunk will show up, but he does, and that's when the fun begins. Follow Maddie and Ben on their magic carpet ride to adventure and true love.

A well done, fantasy style romantic novel. The main character, after being dumped by her fiance (which shows up in the gossip columns--how embarassing!), discovers a Genie in a bottle on the beach. From that moment on the fun begins!

This is a cute book. "Ben" is likable. It is a bit predictable, and you can probably figure out the major plot points as soon as you see the word "genie". However, it's worth the time to read.
