OK, I don't know how this service works without violating copyright laws but for $59.99 you get free, unlimited downloads of books, magazines, games, etc.  I've read the FAQs and it says that it doesn't violate anything.

SITE DELETED

On one hand I don't intend to spread info on a bogus site but on the other hand if this is a good site I don't want someone to miss out.

I read about it in the DELETED site.

I leave it to you to investigate and decide and let us know what you find out.

ETA:  I've deleted the site information because I don't want to give them one more minute of anyone's time!  Thanks for the investigation ladies!

Find it alittle fishy because I cannot SEE what they actually have.  I'd join if I could find ten books I want to read.

If you look up their domain name, it's listed with "Protected Domain Services" which is a service that hides domain information. And although they have a Denver CO, P.O. Box, it says the servers are in Asia.

Whois search Here.

Protected Domain Servies. Here.

They have a P.O. Box, and a Colorado number. So they may just be trying to be hard to contact. And it looks like they've been spamming web sites with adds, most starting with .... "I read that a couple of you have been talking about The Droid Library."

Plus, someone I saw on a review said they'd downloaded the Harry Potter series from it. Uh, Pirate site then. There are no legal HP books available until Pottermore (or what ever it's called) opens up later this fall.

Seriously, I wouldn't give anyone my credit card number without being sure who they are, and if I could get in contact with them. I've only pulled up a few reviews, most of them reviewing themselves.

Sounds hinky all the way around.

Just checked my spam and have 15 emails from these people. I'd stay clear away from them,

Yeah if someone claims to have read Harry Potter, then they are pirate ebooks.
