I promised myself that I wouldn't get involved in some of the controversial discussions over in CMT because of the anti-christian members that frequent that forum.  They are so snide, demeaning, critical, petty...I could go on... But, argh I got involved in one yet again and I'm so mad at myself because they make me want to call them names and that is just so not right.....argh argh argh...

Hun, they are just proving the bible is true....the very bible they laugh about. =D

Well, I get mad sometimes too at the behavior of people in general and pretty much blew up regarding the person that locked another woman in her house and then proceeded to beat the cr@@ out of her. When I read something I tend to see it visually . Well, seeing someone get beat up in my mind, and the way the poster described it really burnt me up.

What was really telling ot the peoples values on that post ~ in my mind anyway ~ was how some of them were so mad that anyone would dare to make a big stink about the violence and express strongly disliking it. That really bothered them way more than someone being attacked  violently. In my mind, they are big hypocrits.   They want to pretend to be so accepting and kind but really they are extremely mean.

O.K.  ~ Thats my vent for the night.

Christy, I know what you mean.  I used to get caught up in some of that, but now I am just forcing myself to NOT respond to a lot of those threads.  Especially if I see them getting heated.  I admit that I do still get sucked in once in a while, but I'm really trying to word my posts more carefully.

So yeah, rant away!  You're in good company.  :)
