My mom does not have internet access at home. So she uses my computer when she uses pbs. So pbs decided to cancel the account without even telling her. Are we not allowed to have different ppl use our computers to sign in? She has a different address and our names are not close so obviously they went by isp address or however it is you track ppl online. |

You're allowed 2 per household I think. Does your spouse or someone else in the house have one? It is tracked by ISP. If it's just you two, I would contact PBS and explain and see what can be done. People who live in apartments and dorms have had issues w/this because of how the phone lines and stuff work. Contact PBS. Last Edited on: 4/15/08 12:22 AM ET - Total times edited: 1 |

this happened once to my fiance and me. It took a couple days to clear up, but once our accounts were back it only took a few orders to erase the frustration. I've always felt it's about people scamming in an attempt to use the site as a wholesaler of sorts, though I can't imagine how lucrative that could really be. We just kept doing our best to communicate through email, and eventually it was resolved. hope this doesn't put you off the Swap, there've been a few bumps along the way, but it's still been the absolute best way to encourage our rampant bibliophilia!!!
