Just an FYI - while browsing my own wish list just now I found one book listed 5 times. Each one of the entries was the exact same ISBN (both 10 & 13). I deleted 4 of them and freed up some space on my WL. When I deleted the duplicates and refreshed the page for that book, the number of wishers decreased by 4 as well. No idea how this happened, just a glitch I guess. Isn't it supposed to be impossible to do that? Last Edited on: 7/5/10 7:46 PM ET - Total times edited: 1 |

A while back when they were doign some site tweaking there were people posting about this problem. Also the other day they were doign some site tweaking and some people had temporary WL problems like missing books. |

Yes it is supposed to be impossible, but it is a glitch that happens occassionally. I haven't seen anyone report problems when they delete the duplicates. I've always found it easy to spot those by exporting to Xcel and then resorting by the ISBN, they stick out pretty easy that way. Mary - no one was actually missing any Wish List books with the new site changes, they were just looking at the list on their profile not realizing that it would not show books on Hold on their Wish List because it is just the Wish List as others would see it. Once they looked a their Wish List in the correct place, all the books were there. |
