If I want to put a special request on a book I'm ordering such as, if i order a hard back book from you, I also want the dust jacket, how do I do that ?

you will need to create a requester condition to that effect. click on account and then settings. This is a long field but requester conditions is in there.

Here is a question I have related to dust jackets. I usually have the dust jacket, but I have one book to post that is missing it's jacket. What is the best way to make a note of this (preferably when listing) so that requestors are aware from the beginning?

Sharra, you can't.  Dust jackets aren't a requirement to post.  However, once someone requests the book, you could always pm them and tell them that there is no dust jacket and give THEM the option of refusal (have them cancel their request or you lose your place in line).  I would hope that someone who really wants dust jackets, that they include them in their requestor conditions.  That's the easier option really.

Sharra if you don't notify the requester, you will be fine since as Stephanie said, a dust jacket is not a requirement unless there is a requester condition. So you post away.

Charlotte makes sure you do an requestor condition about the dust jackets, and not just on your about me page. People who get your requests for books aren't going to see your about me page.
