This is an interesting book.I could not put it down I had to finish. Drake Weston was destined he believed and raised his whole life to be as Duke as his father had been. But many things changed his plan.Sent to America as an indentured servant he meets the pure and Beautiful Quaker Serena. They love each other with a wild passion. God has a plan for both of them, although Drake tells Serena so many lies that she leaves him, even though pregnant. They both find that God's plan is different than theirs. Drake who has been deceived as to his true father was is plagued by nightmares, and black moods. Serena is the love and the light of his life.

Both of them find purpose in their life when they let God guide them. An interesting book about the darkness and the light. A beautiful but realistic , fantastically passionate love story. This is a ten out of ten rating.
