We've had discussions before about some of the romance genre covers being embarrassing to hold and read in a public setting. Well now I have a new twist on that.
I've really started embracing ebooks, which I read either on a Galaxy tablet or Netbook - (i.e., devices used for other purposes). I have all my books buried in a directory under my user path, so in the rare event someone else in the family uses the device they aren't front and center.
Some of them, especially Ellora's Cave books can be quite steamy, both int terms of titles and covers. (Note, not ALL my books are that way, but some.)
New problem - I've just discovered when I access certain graphical applications like some photo programs or customizing my desktop, the device does a quick scan of the whole system looking for files. And guess, what? Before you can blink an eye - all those steamy covers pop up right next to background schemes for the computer and family photos. Ugh. Was not expecting that!
