This is the 112 page "book one," as opposed to the later, larger-format release "book one." For people who want a taste of the masterful storytelling of Kaiji Kawaguchi, this is a great book to try. It's also a good choice to loan to people who cling to the quaint notion that comics are for kids. Anyone who has ever watched and enjoyed "The West Wing" should also enjoy this series.

I've not read the series, just this book so far. This manga (illustrated comic-book style story) is the beginnings of young Japanese news reporter and his relationship with an up-and-coming Japanese-American presidential candidate. Interesting enough for me to look for future volumes of this series.
