Since Easter is the holiday that Christians celebrate the resurrection and life in Christ, how will you give thanks and in what ways will you share it with others?

Well, last night we went to Maundy Thursday dinner and service at my church.  It was a good reminder of the night that Jesus ate the last supper with the disiples and that it was also the night he was arrested.  at one point we turned out the lights to represent "the hour of shadows".

For Easter Sunday, we will probably try to go to the Sonrise service, as well as Sunday school and regular service.  Then we will be off to my MIL's for dinner.  We will talk to our children about Easter and why we celebrate it, ect.

I may do some kind of activity with my 7 yr old on Saturday...maybe we will make "Empty Tomb" rolls or  something.  :o)

We're putting on a Passion Play and this verse kept coming to me all week long.

John 12:32  And I, If I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me.

I think the world has so altered and distorted what Easter is all about and as Christians we need to remind ourselves as to why we believe and why it's so important for others to believe.  Jesus gave the ultimate sacrifice, his life,  so that others may live (spiritually) and not die (spiritually).   I think the movie the Passion of the Christ, was about the best movie depiction of the sacrifice that I have seen.

So for all of yall out there who are reading this and are not Christians and don't really know why you don't believe, check out the Passion of the Christ movie and see why we as Christians believe.  Jesus gave all that he had for us, that's why  we give all that we have to him, which is ourselves.
