Fine honed suspense novel that twists and turns until the last page. Hellman takes the reader from Chicago's North Shore where a preppy, pretty girl is found murder, to the dirty streets of the South Side.
Murder, dirty businessmen, politics, sex, just a normal day for Chicago. What a wonderful book.
