I'm always looking to find apps that will help me find free ebooks. Here are two I've found that work with Chrome eReaderIQ integrator Here. and Free Books on Amazon.com Here. For grabbing Fanfic in bulk, I use Calibre and the "FanFictionDL" plug in. The plugin will work on many Fanfic archives. (They have a list in the info.) I use it for my main two archives to bulk download Fanfic, then sort it once they're in Calibre. You copy/past the URL links to the stories into FanFictionDL, then press a button and it download the entire stories for you. No piecing together various chapters! There are two Chrome extensions I use to get all the links off of the page to past into FanFictionDL is CopyLinks Here. Another is Link2Clip Here. CopyLinks doesn't have good reviews, but mine works just fine. Once copied into FanFictionDL that plugin will weed out the links to various web pages at the site and just try to download the story ones. If you give it a lot of story links, just give it a bit of time to do the legwork. Now, I usually just check my favorite sites and download once or twice a week. Anyone else got any good ones the use? Don't forget to specify which browser you have! [trying to fix the format. It's wonky. I've deleted the description of the extensions because the format was weird. But you can read about them at the links.] Last Edited on: 6/7/14 9:33 AM ET - Total times edited: 4 |
