I just finished the latest book by Diana Gabaldon which just came out on Sept. 22.  Hers are the only books I buy new.  It was #6 in the series and it was great!  Our hero and heroine are now participating in the American Revolution while in the 20th century their daughter and SIL have uniques struggles of their own.  I'm really sorry I've finished it because it will probably be three years before book #7 comes out, and she left several cliffhangers to wonder about in the meantime.

This is one of my favorite/keeper series, and one of the few authors for whom I will buy new books.  Once I bought Echo, I started rereading the series; am currently reading Drums.   Even tho each book is about 700+ pages, I average about one book a week!

The series is: Outlander; Dragonfly in Amber; Voyager; Drums of Autumn; Fiery Cross; Breath of Snow and Ashes; Echo in the Bone
