Leigh is a deaf artist who can't cope with her world so she goes to an island in the Carribean for peace and solitude. Sam is a famous country singer being stalked by a crazed fan. He's sent to the island for protection. At first, he doesn't know she's deaf and she doesn't know who he is at all. He makes her confront her deafness and she learns to live in his world.
