This is an interesting read. It has much to offer if you can sift through the dream like world being described. Descriptions of events flash by like scenes in a dream. Symbolism abounds. The style of writting is not for everyone yet some of the insights it offers can be profound.

I loved this book! I love all of Randy Alcorn's books. He makes us think of the spirit world that is all around us. He reminds me somewhat of Frank Peretti's writing.

WOW!!! This is an Alice-in-Wonderland, psychedelic journey! You follow Nick as he finds his way along with a few other fellow travellers thru a strange world where he makes life or death decisions which have eternal consequences! How did he get there? Will he make the right choice? Will he get a second chance? This book had some very profound statements mixed in with a great story. It made me stop and think about my life quite a few times while reading it. Awesome book.

This book takes you to a different world. Similar to Pilgrims Progress, it follows the main character on his journey to eternity.

The Author Alcorn has a great imagination in this novel. He uses a lot of symbolism to express Biblical truths in this story of a man named Nick that is strangely pulled into the hereafter in the spiritual world between good and evil and must follow the right road to find the King's kingdom of eternity. He discovers and goes through many obstacles in his journey, only to discover the reality of life itself. Finally after reaching the kingdom, the King sends Nick back to earth for a second chance to discover the real life and dependence upon him for direction and guidance. This is a great eternal fiction book that is hard to stop reading. The action and suspense is portrayed wonderful in this novel.
