OOPs--found the answer in Help Center

You can't edit info--you must remove from shelf and repost....

Hope you haven't removed them yet, since the Help Center is incorrect. They have not updated it since they made it possible to edit non-ISBN listings. you can update those lisings just like any other. Use the little arrow in the upper right corner of the information box, which will give you "edit book data" link to click and edit the data.
