i go on a mission trip each year to Guatamala and every year we take the children stuffed animals, but i was thinking it might be nice to take them some books written in spanish. Most of these children have spinal deformities and will be spending alot of time in bed after surgery so i thought this might be benifitcal for the children. I cannot spend a ton of monye becasue i have to pay for the trip myself but i have been looking at places like dollar general and yard sales but i am not finding much, any suggestions? thanks

I have the best luck finding children's books in spanish at library book sales.  I don't know if you live in a city or not, but if you live near a big city you might call and ask when their big sale of the year is.  I think it's a great idea to take them books!  Good luck!

Hi Erin, You might also post a note in the book bazaar.  I have seen people ask for donations in cases like this with good results.  I wish I had some to send you!!  Blessings, Carrie
