I thoroughly enjoyed this trilogy, which builds over a number of years to this final volume. Ra-hotep is a 1,350 BC equivalent of Mickey Spillane's Mike Hammer and the stories that comprise author Nick Drake's Amarna trilogy are as engrossing as a 40's noir film.
