AT Jones is an interesting man in late 1800's and early 1900's. He is a revival evangelist that thinks a lot of himself. He tends to swing from one view to another. He held some prominent positions in the Seventh day Adventist church. His theological goes crazy from one end of the pendulum to another. I wonder if he was bipolar. The man is brilliant but unstable, by the early 1900's he swings to a Pentecostal Sabbath keeping group. After reading this book it was a miracle that the early Seventh Day Adventist church stayed together. It seems all the leaders except Ellen White were trying hard to promote how great they were.

AT Jones played a very prominent role in American History. In 1888, A select group in the US Congress decided to force a very strict Sunday law on the American people. AT Jones a very persuasive speaker convinced Congress that this law would be a major mistake for all involved. The American people would totally lose their religious liberty to a small handful of extremists in Congress. Thank God and AT jones that it did not happen.

This is a very interesting book.
