Anyone have any comments on this series? I'm lookin\g for a good option to curl up with and read while the rest of my house is obsessed with football?  Are the "okay", "addictive", what?

They're pretty good, not great. My feeling is that the plots are good and the world is interesting, but sentence by sentence I don't adore her writing (but I'm a professional editor, so I'm especially picky about that). There's a fairly interesting story arc across the books that I do want to see the development of, though - in fact I wish she'd get on with it (she's been onto a couple of other series just lately instead, it seems like). So they are definitely holding my interest despite my criticism!

Loved them. They are all on my keeper shelf. Not to thrilled with  the fey series she started though.I think Wicked Enchantment was the first and I was not real impressed.

I thought the first one was okay.  I just wasn't motivated to read the others, though, so I traded them away.

The first one was ok, but just ok. However,  I couldn't even finish the second one. I can't quite remember what it was i didn't like though. That was a while back.

I finally got around to reading these and I think I'm in the "okay, not great" category.  I really like the premise, but I find myself getting impatient and actually skipping pages/sections just to get on with the overall story.

Not a series I'm that eager to read.  I tried the first one and it didn't hold my attention much.  I ended up with the others but ended up posting them.  Oddly I still wishlist them when a new one is published but it takes alot to get me to pick it up and actually read it.

I enjoyed the first one more than others I guess but have not read the other 3. I have them and will probably read them eventually.
