I just posted some elementary books on core subjects today on my bookshelf.  I couldn't believe that 12 of them were wl books!

I'm mailing out seven books today!  That's a new record for me!  Theres a few left, and I'm wondering how fast they'll go.

Do children's books normally go fast?

You must have had some really great children's books!  Some kids' books go fast, and others sit on the bookshelves for a long time.  I like to order quality children's literature.  I am not a big fan of most cartoon books, like Care Bears or Sponge Bob.  If a child likes those books, then that is a great way to get the child into reading, but they wouldn't be books I would buy for my classroom.

Edited to add:  These are some authors and illustrators that I like for preschool age kids- Eric Carle, Laura Numeroff, David Shannon, Jamie Lee Curtis, and Laura Ingalls Wilder (My First Little House Series).  I'm sure I'm forgetting lots of authors...these are just a few who I really like.
