I just had a weird thing happen this past week. In Settings on my account I have email mailings set to NOT receive emails for "Book Accepted In System" and "Book Received that You Sent". But just a few days ago I started getting emails for the second one, marked received, but not the first (so far). Also I'm getting emails when another member has marked a book I requested as Mailed. I've not gotten one of those in a long time, and don't wish to get them.
I've went to my settings and found that the tic boxes are still checked. But to be on the safe side I clicked Update Email Settings again. Then today I got more emails that I shouldn't be getting so I logged back in and this time unchecked the boxes, hit Update; then clicked them back again and again hit Update Settings.
Just wondering if anyone else has had this problem??
The "another member has mailed your book" emails you can't turn off. PBS says they've been coming to members all along but, for the majority of us, they've only started in the last week or two. They're looking at putting in an opt out for those.
If you're getting emails that you've opted out of, I would contact the PBS team about that. Just click on "contact us" at the bottom right corner of the page and send them a message. That way they can look into it for you and see why you're getting those emails.
