A truly horrible ending that ruined all pleasure I had in this book. Mildly amusing storytelling turned into an improbable intellectual exercise about 7/8 through, where the author seemed like he was trying to prove a philosophical point instead of unwinding a story for the reader. I do NOT recommend this book.
