If you have the request ID number, contact the PBS team with it and they can look up the details of that request for you since it's different than the one you have.  They can let you know what's going on.

In this occasion the man Jack should have let you know in advance about the arrangement. That would have saved you a bunch of confusion.

(Now, if the book you requested by any chance had been one with a grim title, that would have explained it, since it's been known the man Jack likes to do things quietly, I think...)

All dear Jack had to do was cancel the transaction and let the system order the next copy for you

There are even members with multiple homes in different states so some books are one place, some another.......heard about a hubby who mails the ones at his location when member is in residence in other state.
