I liked this book as much as the first. Axis is learning who he is and how to use his powers. As each truth is revealed Axis is left with tantalizing clues that he must use to find a way to fulfill the prophecy of the Starman.
I really enjoyed this book except it was a little too wordy. I found myself skipping some of the long descriptions of the scenery to get to the action. And there is a lot of action in it.
Well worth it. I want the remaining four (in the trilogy).
This set is great as far as storyline, but I didn't care for some of the character development.
Oh, man, this is such a dreadful book that I can't finish it. IF you liked the first one, you might want the second one, I suppose. Or if you are looking for a book that you can kill spiders with, this might be a good one for you.
As much as I'd like to be rid of this book, and get a credit for it, I just can't lie to you. It's dull as a butter knife.
