Just started Holbrook's story so we'll see if it improves my rating, but after the other two, I am disappointed in this collection. As for this story, how can our Hero be a Duke when his father is still alive?
Solomon's entry is just a meandering mess. Very little interaction btwn the leads in the first several chapters. Just lots of blowsy narrative.
Lawrence's story was "cute" and readable but the main plot didn't really get resolved, and it was a weak plot to begin with. The leads were cardboard too, nothing much to hold on to or remember.
this book contains three short stories from different writers. each story is about how a cat helps a couple find and keep true love. the stories are very cute, but not really interesting to me. they seemed to be geared to younger readers. it is supposed to be a romance book, but there is little to no romance in it. yes of course, the people fall in love, but that's it. there is absolutely no sexual content in this book. the stories are written by cindy holbrook, nancy lawrence, and hayley ann solomon.
