Another pleasant trip to Provence. It is a unique place and Mayle has a great way of describing it & it's many idiosyncracies.
Peter Mayle gives a wonderful picture of not only what it's like to live in Provence, but describes with great humor the essence of the Provencial personalities and some of the best features of the area, such as their wines, olive oils, cork screws and truffels, and especially their food. It's a delightful read.
