Left Behind, the rapture in Washington DC!!!
Hard to get into after reading all the Left Behind books.
It started slow but got exciting by the end. Now I want to read the next one in the series.
Interesting series of three. I had previously read the Left Behind series(by LaHaye/Jenkins) so I was familiar with the background of the time period and events in which this book took place(recommended, but not necessary). I rnjoyed reading the political side of the story and thought the author did a good job with the characters in the series.
I HAVE READ THIS BOOK AND I LOVED IT. IS IS ALONG THE LINE OF THE LEFT BEHIND SERIES.
I WOULD REECOMMED THIS BOOK TO ANY ONE THAT HAS READ THE LEFT BEHIND SERIES.
Liked it but I read the 2nd one first and it was much better.
Unabridged, 8 CDs, 10 hours, read by Steve Sever
You could subtitle this Left Behind in Washington. Not as immediately compelling as the original Left Behind was, but very similar in tone. With an entirely new cast of characters, begins with the rapture and ends with Carpathia's meeting at the UN where he compels everyone there (except Buck) to believe that they saw something different than what really happened. Worth the time for fans of the series. I found Sever to be somewhat DJ-ish, but his delivery is clear and voices distinctive.
Just became aware of this series and really enjoyed this book 1. It made me desire to get the next book to read. I enjoyed Neesa's writing style.
