He arrives just after the client's murder and is framed for murder. The spy world he thought he had left behind is now upon him. Gabriel has no choice but to work to clear his name and find the real killer before the killer finds him.

Excellent narration -- and that makes such a difference in the listeners' enjoyment. Gabriel Allon, a complex and intriguing character, manages to fool most of the people most of the time, and me nearly all the time. Good, suspenseful storytelling.
