I found this book to be depressing - there is so much talk about the beggars and extremely poor people living in slums and even the sacrificing of a baby goat (I'm an animal lover, so I hated that part!) The author doesn't share anything good about India and I'm sure there are beautiful parts! It's just a depressing story about a girl trying to find enlightenment but really finding just beggars and fake gurus. It wasn't my cup of tea at all!
