I've been a fan of Fran for a long time, I watched The Nanny since I was a little girl, I can recite them to you.
I first got the Cancer Shamcer book a couple years ago from the $1 Store. I read it, and it was powerful. It made me laugh and cry.
I've had Enter Whining on my list for a while, then I found it at the library, and got it, I did the same with this book. I laughed so hard at parts, and on others I cried so hard I had to put the book down and walk away.
This woman is so wonderful and insperational with everything she has been through and she's still up beat and fighting.

The way Fran writes about her life shows she has a super attitude about life - she can make a joke of just about anything that has happened to her, which is something I admire. Really great book!

Dreadful, absolutely dreadful.
I so enjoy a rags to riches story.
Throw in a little humor, and it makes it even better.
I made it 3/4 of the way before I got bored.
Enough of the name dropping! I get sick and tired of hearing about your GREAT life long friend________.
The last three chapters lost me. yawn. enough about The Nanny.
While I found her candor about her experience of a break in in her home endearing, I found it ironic that she and her husband made the government pay for her therapy while later, they traveled all over the world for vacations.
Fran is a great comic- maybe not such a great author.
I ordered her next book to see how the story continues...
