From the back cover:

His name is John Kruger. His code name is Eraser. If you are a threatened government witness, he erases your old idenity and gives you a new one. If you try to get your hands on one of those witnesses, he makes you vanish in a different way.

Now he must protect a beautiful woman who stands to uncover a scheme that could shift the balance of power in the world forever. The players in a conspiracy that reaches the highest levels of government will stop at nothing to keep her from exposing the truth. But Marshal Kruger will do anything to keep her alive. As the conspiracy closes in, he alone must guard her from some of the most terrifying forces in the world before time runs out.
