I read on my ereader as much as possible but I am also thrifty. I'll read a paper library book before I will buy the ebook, so for authors whose publishers don't sell to Overdrive or 3M (looking at you Brad Thor and Lisa Kleypas, etc), I check out the paper book at the library or trade for it here. I've got so many on my TBR now, whether here at home, on the ereader, at the digital library, or at the paper library, that I've started doing one random, then the oldest on the list, then one I own that needs to get read and gone. I am disappointed now when a book comes up and it's a paper one! How absurd is that? I'm bummed I have to go across the street and pick up my free to read paper book? I knew I would like my ereader but not to the level of animosity towards a paper book LOL! |

We do surprise ourselves, sometimes. My surprise was that I thought I'd end up getting rid of almost all my paper books. No mistake, I traded out a ton then used the credits to get ebooks. Don't regret that at all, but found that I'm just a lot more selective in what I keep physically. I've actually kept more than I thought I would. It'll still be a PITA if we have to move. Lol. |

I read almost exclusively ebook now, although I do have about 30 paperbacks I haven't gotten to yet. Occasionally I'll find a book here at PBS that I can't get in ebook or it's too expensive. |

I absolutely love my Sony Readers--and read on them constantly. But...I still love reading paper books as well and am a very active trader here. Sometimes, I end up with both a paper and e-book copy--then I'll read part of the book on my e-reader and part of it on the dead tree version. I love that I can do both and that it's not an either/or decision.
