This is a three-book volume about a fictional planet Alcheringia. The people there have lived in fear of the "gods", huge metal creatures who fly through the air. Asa, a young abor, was challenging why the old ways had to be followed - he wanted answers to some of the mysteries and was willing to challenge even the gods themselves.
Time was running out for the Project and everyone was feeling the pressure. Shem, Dream Master of West Norriya, knew was what at stake - the survival of Alcheringia. Recent visual transmissions from field units had given him hope in the form of a defiant young abor, Asa.
These three books in one volume transport you to another world, one in which you get totally immersed. I couldn't put this book down until I was finished reading.
