All of the essays in Ex Libris are about books and reading, and Anne Fadiman's writing is engrossing and also informational. With essays themed around topics such as "Marrying Libraries" (combining her library with her husband's) and the "Odd-Shelf," (that one section in a reader's library that seems out of place), I found this collection very enjoyable. Fadiman has a great sense of humor, as well as a talent for research. This is a book I'd recommend to anyone who loves to read.
