I just finished this book the other day. OMG it was disgusting really, deeply disturbing on so many levels. I finished the whole book hoping that it would get better but nope just a downer all the way to the end. Wondering if anyone else has read it |

I read that one a few months ago. I agree, I was thinking it would be more along the lines of Laymon, but nope it was just gross. Not even creepy gross, just gross. |

I read this book on the recommendation of a friend. I was really icked out by it but at the same time I couldn't put it down and had to know how it ultimately would end. I know I will never read this book again but at the same time I don't know if I completely hated it. Not that I necessarily enjoyed it but I was informed that it was disturbing, gross and creepy by my friend before reading and it definitely did all those things. |

I have read it many times, and though in the last few years it appeals to me less and less, I used to really love the book. I loved the way we were drawn to identify with andrew and his love for dead young men. In that it wasn't so much a disgusting idea, as just another person's endearment. It is a sick, disturbing and grotesque piece of work. But it was definitly a great story and a plot that was generally completey different from all the same old same old we read every day. |

It's on my mountain of a TBR! I have a closet with like 10 boxes of books and a bookcase full of books. About a 1/3 of the books have been read. If I can find it I'll move it to the top of my tbr list... |
