I enjoyed this story series of immigrants into the Texas territory and the crisis that they faced as they made a place for themselves and their families. It give insight to the hardships (physical and emotional) the early settlers had to deal with and how their faith and lack of faith worked in their lives. The thee-book series covers the time Texas was a territory to the time it was a state. It's a very good read.
