I thought this book was well-written (except for a few instances of misuse of the word "quip"). It shows in fairly stark detail what happens when a young woman naively enters into a relationship with a married man. It is also a frightening example of law enforcement "circling the wagons" to protect one of their own. I don't think the book fully answers some of the questions (at least the ones I had), like "What exactly was the FBI man's partner's role?". I don't think some of them will ever be answered unless the perpetrators decide to talk. Ultimately, it is a quick read about how one young woman's fantasy of how to get the perfect life goes really, really wrong; ending with her death. I think I actually cheered out loud when justice finally prevailed.
